Petersfield 2 Beat S/Ton University 2 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 4 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 68 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Gary Cox winning through.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 66 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Robin Shaw.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, Matthew Pigott, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Matthew Pigott, who over-turned a 266 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
